A Scholarship and Fundraising initiative to support BIPOC Youth develop in the Arts and Comedy community.
It's time for the Arts community to meet the calls of the public for better and more representation of their communities on stage. The goals of this fund is to create opportunities for BIPOC Youth to enter the Arts community and create their own stories and stages.
Often BIPOC Youth are discouraged from pursuing the arts and comedy specifically because they:
1) Aren't invited to participate
2) Don't see anyone who looks LIKE THEM on those stages, so they assume the arts aren't for them
3) When they do enter these spaces they feel marginalized and unsupported.
This fund aims to get BIPOC Youth in Classes, on Stages, and Support from BIPOC Instructors and Artists.
Our First Step:
Scholarships provided to BIPOC Girls for Girl Party and Girl Power this Fall.
Help cover the costs of Arts and Improv training for BIPOC Youth.
You contribution will cover costs including BIPOC Instructor fees, training, and outreach.
