QueerProv Workshops: Learn improv comedy!

Queer Positive workshops are open to ALL, and are a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQ2I+ people.

Join QueerProv in this special improv workshop series and learn the improv games and skills you see at our live improv shows! All of our teachers are experienced members of the QueerProv Troupe.

Workshops are pay what you can (suggested donation $10) and open to all levels, from beginners to experienced performers. Whether you perform, aspire to, or never intend to step in front of an audience, improv is a fun way to connect with community, and a great way to build communication skills. All are welcome, and we strive to maintain a safe, playful atmosphere. 💜

Flow - We take the first 15 minutes to arrive and chat.

Workshop is about 90 minutes with a break.

We take the last 15 minutes to pack up and socialize.

Content - We all try to behave in a safe, inclusive, and considerate manner. Because this is an improv drop-in for all levels, unexpected things can happen. We will do our best to create a safe inclusive space where participants can always express their feelings and boundaries.

Accessibility - Tightrope has an accessible entrance on the street level. Bathroom is not big enough to be considered accessible, and is currently up one step and down one step.

Sensory Info - Our practice room is susceptible to weather changes (warm on warm days, cold on cold days). Dress comfortably.
