Part-Time Position
10-15 hours/week
$22-25/hour depending on experience
Tightrope Improv Theatre is currently seeking a part-time Marketing Manager to lead marketing, sales, promotions, and audience engagement functions of an improv theatre that produces weekly shows, educational programs, corporate training & events. Reporting to the Executive & Artistic Directors the position shall lead all marketing efforts that result in more ticket sales, growing student population, and corporate engagements.
The successful candidate will oversee the marketing and advertising activities of the theatre company including annual marketing plans, budget and engagement strategies.
They will focus on developing new audiences while also deepening relationships and communications with current audiences. The Marketing Manager should have creative energy, an entrepreneurial spirit and be committed to sharing the story of Tightrope Theatre to a broad and growing community.

As the theatre grows so will this role with the opportunity for it evolving into a full time position. Some evenings and weekend hours will be required.
Those interested should have an interest in theatre, a formal education in communications/marketing, superior written and verbal communication skills, be media and digital savvy and have excellent organizational skills.
