Mount Sinai and Tightrope Theatre proudly present: Improv for Parkinson's Virtual - Supported by a community grant from the Parkinson’s Foundation
Do you have PD? Love to laugh? Want to participate in a research study?
This research study is designed to introduce students with Parkinson's Disease (PD) to the foundations of improvisation and apply improv skills to life with PD. Participants will build community, learn new skills, work together, tell stories, and laugh!
This course will be held on Zoom and requires internet access. We encourage family members and carepartners to attend with participants, as many games can be played at home after the class. No previous improv experience necessary. Through support from the Parkinson’s Foundation, this course is free for patients and caregivers. Because of the nature and expense associated with this program, it is only open to NYC residents.
If interested get in touch with either of our research heads:
Joan (joan.miravite@mountsinai.org) or Ricardo (ricardo.renvill@mountsinai.org)
Once Joan or Ricardo have approved you, please register below
